You cannot clear more than 47% or so of the memory, and a 4-5-6 will not erase any of your files. It is a good idea to remove all cards when you do one, but it will not erase your flash disk or anything. Not even a service reset will do that.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi list,
Doesn't a 4 5 6 reset clear the ram content though? When I do a
simple press of the reset button by itself, it always clears the
virtual memory upto 47 percent. Will a 4 5 6 reset clear it all?
Wouldn't you have to backup, and then restore, your files?
Kerri
