I am sure it has been mentioned on this list that a 456 reset changes or sets certain things to default. Things like network places, (is that the same as my favorites?), bluetooth setings, and document settings, may be others.
Could someone clarify please?

You can clear cookies and network temporary files in Internet.
Sissy, I can send you a very small HTML which you can access locally, so you are in Internet, so you could then clear the Internet temp files up.

Regards,
Steve.

You cannot clear more than 47% or so of the memory, and a 4-5-6
will not erase any of your files. It is a good idea to remove
all cards when you do one, but it will not erase your flash disk
or anything. Not even a service reset will do that.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi list,
Doesn't a 4 5 6 reset clear the ram content though? When I do a
simple press of the reset button by itself, it always clears the
virtual memory upto 47 percent. Will a 4 5 6 reset clear it all?
Wouldn't you have to backup, and then restore, your files?
Kerri
