Chris,

I think a reason you might want to put the unit in deep sleep mode or
hibernation is if you will be storing it not plugged into the
mains for several weeks or months. I personally have never used it because I
use my unit on a regular basis.

Derek's analogy of comparing the C1C4 Reset on the PK to putting the mPowers
into hibernation mode is one that is valid and is
correct.

Here is a reference that can be used in the future

Regular Reset:
Reset button (Classic and mPower)
C3 C4 (PK)

Soft Reset:
Reset with dots 123 (BT Classic and Mpower units)
Reset with SDF (QT Classic and mPower units)
C3 C4 with dots 123 (PK)

Hard Reset:
Reset with dots 456 (BT Classic and mPower units)
Reset with JKL (QT Classic and mPower units)
C3 C4 with 456 (PK)

Hibernation mode:
BT Classic and mPower units:
SPACE with O for Options
SPACE with I for Support Information mode
H for Hibernation mode

QT Classic and mPower units:
FUNCTION with O for Options
READ with I for Support Information mode
H for Hibernation

PK:
C1 C4

Service Reset:
mPower only: Record with Reset

Hi all, thanks for this, but why should we put our mPowers into deep
sleep mode anyway? Thanks in advance.
