Hi brian, that number for tech support won't help Ross because he
is in Australia. So I suggest Ross That you call your local
Humanware office and ask them about upgrading your Voicenote. I'm
not sure when they re-open but I'm sure if you ring them the
answering machine will have a message telling you when they get
back from the Christmas/new Years break.

Yes I think you can upgrade your VoiceNote Classic to KeySoft 7.5
build 27 but it won't be cheap as you must purchase each and
every upgrade between the version you have and 7.5 as well as 7.5
itself.
CF cards come in different classes which determine the speed the
card writes data.
The VoiceNote can use any class of CF card.
