Hello All:

I'm having a problem with Keysync Version 3.0 which I downloaded last
Friday, December 28, 2007. I am running a Braillenote Mpower BT32 with
Keysoft Version 7.5 Build 28 and a Windows XP SP2 PC with Microsoft Outlook
XP (2002). Here is what happens.

I have set up ActiveSync Version 4.5, which I had to get to sync with my new
Moto Q Smart Phone to establish a partnership with the Braille Note. I
indicated I wanted to sync my contacts. So far, so good.

When I connect the BN to my PC via USB, the connection is established.
Then, I press "u" from the BN Main Menu to go to the utilities menu, then
press "S" to go to the Synchronization menu. After checking that the BN
would sync contacts and not sync the planner, I press S from the Synchronize
menu to begin synchronization.

The BN says and shows, "Syncing Contacts Please Wait." I then get a message
on the PC saying that a program is trying to access contacts stored in
Outlook, and asking if I want to allow this and for how many minutes. I
check the box to allow it and select 2 minutes, then press "Y".

What happens next is that the BN shows "Duplicate Contacts," followed by 0%.
I then hear on the BN "Fatal Application Error." If I press the space bar
on the BN after I hear that, I hear "The application keysoft.exe has
performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem
persists, contact the program vendor." I cannot do anything with the BN at
this point except press the reset switch with no keys held down to re-start
Keysoft.

Has anyone else seen this and if so, what can be done to fix it? If HW
needs additional information to re-produce this problem so we can squash the
bug, I'd be glad to provide what I can.

Thanks and happy new year.
