Hi Sharon and others; I wrote Brian Lingard about this when the dispute was going on and never got around to sending it to the group. I wish HW would keep up the maintainance agreements so we would be able to get our cleanings. Then give us credit each year towards a new braille display. In my case, mine is about 4 years old. If I pay for a maintainance agreement for 3 years and say my display brakes down in 3 years, I would have $1,500 towards the replacement of my new display. Then my replacement should be about $600, give or take a little. This sure is more practical than to have to pay over $2,000 at once. What do you all think. Terry Powers

Here's the big question: Is anyone even trying for a contract? If not, are we going to leave this alone? Chuck and I still feel that the Tieman display is the best of the two, we have facts to back us as far as our own equipment, and we don't think the current plans are to anyone's advantage. Living in the Present One day at a time, This is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past. For it is gone. And do not be troubled about the future. For it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful. That it will be worth remembering. ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
