I use to have this same problem, I guess a neighbour has a wireless network which they have some sort of security code on it but they haven't hidden the network from others. So what you can do if you want it to stop happening is go to the wireless options in your wireless menu and where it asks to notify when new networks are available say NO. The next one down is connect to non preferred networks and I also have this set to No but I'm not sure if this would effect you connecting to hot spots hopefully someone else can help with this because I have never done it because I have never been where there is hot spots to try. Hope this helps I know I have stopped picking up the neighbours since I changed at least the first one not sure if it was both. >From Shaz. Then I am told to please wait. Nothing else happens until I press the Escape key. Is there something I am supposed to do with that New Visible Network?
