Hi James,
This existed ever since KeySoft 6.0 (PK).
This only appears when you insert a network
card.
Cheers,
Joseph

I have never seen this either. Does this
only appear on ks 7.5?

Subject: [Braillenote] an awesome find,
networks
Hi list,
I was curious to see how much free space I
had on my flash disk,
and then I got curious and went into file
manager, and spaced
down through the options after going into
directory, and after
keysoft system disk, I heard, network. I
pressed space with i,
and was surprised to hear the help message
that said I could
browse different computers that I had set
up. Of course, I was
always aware that you could do this, but I
do not remember seeing
this option in the directory menu before.
It would be really
neat if I could set up a network between my
bn and my pc in
another room and work on a file between
them. Is this possible,
and if so, what do I need to know in order
to get my braillenote
set up with my pc as a network place? By the
way, I selected the
network option, and this prompted the
message, network server? I
then pressed space, and since I did not have
a server set up, it
went to the next item, domain to search? I
was pleasantly
surprised because I did not know about the
option to access
network plaaes in the directory menu. Is
this the only way to
access the network places option, because I
have not seen it
anywhere else, and just now have discovered
it in the directory
menu.
Kerri
