For those who may be wanting to participate, I think, Skype chat conference
is very limited.

Subject: [Braillenote] Update on the Chat status
Hi list,
I got couple updates:
* The Blind Cool Tech site's chat room does not work - the link is dead.
This means that we have to move to a different chat room (with recording
facilities) to conduct the BrailleNote Chat.
* The For-the-people site requires user ID and passwords. The account
activation period can take up to 72 hours, which is not good.
* I'm now at the Friends of Bookshare room (located at
www.accessibleworld.org website) listening to a chat. It is supposed to
end around 7 PM Pacific. Before that, I spoke to one of the planning
commitee members about this. He told me to talk to Pat Price regarding
hosting the BrailleNote Chat at the Tek Talk room (Pat Price is the
manager of the Accessible World server). When the chat is over, I'll ask
Pat (and perhaps Bob Acosta) about hosting the BrailleNote Chat at the Tek
Talk Room on the evening of 17th and the morning of 18th.
* Some folks suggested Skype Conference call. I think it would be the
last resort if Tek Talk room cannot be used. The thing is that those who
wants to attend must install Skype and create a user name and password.
Those are the updates as of now. More bullentins will be posted when
things change.
Cheers,
Joseph
