Hi Karen and Alex,
When you get to a pop-up add you can just hit the enter with B
thing (on the bt I don't know the command for the qt) and go
back. It will either give you another pop-up (if so repeat the
process until they stop) or it will take you to the site you
requested. This always works for me anyway.
