Hello Stuart: You need to go to control panel, system, hardware tab, and press enter on device manager button. Then, arrow down to ports, press right arrow to open it, and look for your Bluetooth comport. You can then modify your Braille display settings in Jaws, and tell Jaws which comport you are using. Press okay, go in to terminal mode on the BN, unload, and reload Jaws. You should then have Braille.

I'm using a BT 18 and have successfully paired it with my Dell Vostro laptop, which is running Vista. My problem is that I can't find where, in Vista, I can determine the serial port that my Bluetooth device is using and I can't therefore tell Jaws what port to address. I've tried from com1 to com8 with no joy. Any suggestions? Regards, Stuart. ******************************************************************** NOTICE: The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and may be privileged.
