Agreed. However, the fact that some of the list members are so generously
active to help other list members with their problems gives humanware to
keep themselves away from the list.
Secondly, Sometimes some of the members so conspicuously justify Humanware,
one would think they are speaking on behalf of Humanware.
The result, some listers think the humanware is listening and answering to
their questions. If there was no such illusion, no one would ask questions
about upgrades.
As about Joseph's mail which almost threatens he would leave, it is
unfortunate, however, it also suggests Joseph's focus on self importance. If
he goes, it will be a great loss for the list, but we will hope that
Humanware will be more actively participating in the discussion topics.
Joseph's support has been valuable, but if he leaves, and hw still does not
come back to the list, I am sure, there are other people as competent.
The mail Joseph wrote was harsh, but also perhaps warranted. The response to
his mail that we got on the list was harsher and perhaps not warranted. But
such mails are not unusual on this list. If Joseph wants to leave on account
of such a mail, as he has suggested in a different posting, it is his wish.
But by doing that, he will not really "let someone else to shine," there are
many others already shining.
Cheers

Hi all,
<smiling> As one who is known for "spouting off" at times. I would like
to defend my fellow BrailleNote user. No, I'm not defending Joseph merely
because he acts the way I do sometimes. I defend him because all of you
tend to forget the fact that Joseph has, except for Rhonda and Brian, been
one of the most helpful and technically savvy people around here. He has
answered enumerable technical questions about the BN, giving concise and
accurate instructions.
In addition, Joseph has organized a web site for the purpose of
consolidating information. Furthermore, it was through his actions that
the chats were organized.
Because of all these things, I am going to give Joseph Lee the benefit of
the doubt. Unless I miss my guess, Mr. Lee is in college. This is exam
time. Folks are strung out. So, let's try to be a little tolerant and
forgiving, eh? <smiling> John Glass, I am sure, is no newbie to the
vagueries of email and its authors. Don't think he needs defending. He
probably gets much worse every day on the job. I think Joseph had a brain
cramp, or a lapse, or whatever you want to call it. He didn't read
carefully enough. If he had, I'm sure he would have answered John's
question privately, sparing the list all this hoopla and commotion. Let's
all go back into our corners, folks. The fight's over, the bell's rung
time.
Just incase you didn't get the straight answer, John, through all the
rhetoric, Humanware hasn't released any info yet.
