Homero, Bookshare membership is limited to people living in the U.S. or in India. (Yep, Bookshare India is now a growing concern and doing well.) If you're here in The United States, then the simplest way to prove blindness is to write down the name of your regional library for the blind, the place you get NLS books. Bookshare checks with NLS every week, and your confirmation will be sent to Bookshare within say seven or eight business days. Alternatively, if you aren't a member of NLS yet, then a doctor, counselor, Minister, Social Worker, anyone who is an official and has intimate knowledge of you and your print disability can write a confirmatory letter and send it to Bookshare. All this info is on the form which is on the web at: http://www.bookshare.org. Ann P. -- Ann K.
