Hi all, on my BrailleNote mPower running KeySoft 7.5 Build 20, I find that
using one of my phones as its modem isn't reliable on one connection, however
on the other phone using it as a modem is absolutely fine. I conclude that
because one of the connections is using a proxy server, it probably makes web
experience unreliable. E-mail just won't work with the proxy connection.
Wireless, however, is a different ball game. It's very fast and seems reliable
for the web at least. The wireless I tried was at my university in Birmingham,
and that's also connected to a proxy server that uses basic authentication as
only us students are allowed to connect to the wireless network despite it
being open and unsecure initially. Just some thoughts.
