Well, I am sure I am not alone in thinking that for Humanware to offer
loaner units would be a good idea and huge help to those of us who rely
on our Braille Notes every single day. Yes, it would be a logistical
challenge. 
Yes, there would be problems. But it would really put the "service" back
into "customer service" IMO. I'm sure Humanware would want to charge a
rental fee, so it would be an income source for them, too. Of course, we
hope that that rental fee would be relatively small...
Something for Humanware to think about if they really want to serve
their custommers.

You can purchase a service contract for the Braillenote; however this
does not include a loaner. Humanware does not provide loaner units. For
more information on warranty coverage, contact customer service at
800-722-3393 option 3.
