I've never had a problem with Keynote speech. I'm using a BN Mpower QT with Keysoft 7.5 build 28.

I would consider sending the unit in for repair. This intermittent problem is unacceptable. I can't stand Eloquence speech.

You could always turn off speech and use braille only. Also, when you're typing, you could set the speech to off. The means the speech won't talk while you're typing, but you can use the speech commands to listen to what you've written.

While it's in the shop, you could use the PK with a QWERTY external keyboard, if the PK has a usb or bluetooth capability.

I hope this helps.

Hello Sharon.

I too find that Eloquence cannot keep up.

When I have experienced problems with speech behaviour, I have found that doing a normal reset usually puts things right. If not, try each re-set in turn until the problem is solved.
