I would definitely be using a Braille Sense Plus. It has many of
the features people have been asking for in a bn. It seems that
the bn has gone the way of the mac in that it is used for school
students because of its... well, I am not sure why, but all the
blind students I have talked to use either it or, much less
frequently, a pac mate, just like most schools buy macs instead
of Windows PCs. I know that the bn is a good machine, but,
honestly, my 98 with 128mb sdram and an 8gb hard drive was
state-of-the-art... back in the mid-90's, but now people use
stuff like that just to try to blow up the processor or
something, not for work.
Have a great day,
Alex

Dear List members. My take on this as a bn mpower user is this.
First, I want to ask you a question. If you did not have the bn,
what would you be using to write in everyday life? Answer,
probably a computer using jaws, window eyes, or maybe a perkines
brailler. So, my take on this is, why should hw try to make
something that is great, even better than it already is? Sure!
Yes you are right. They could update the software, offer free
upgrades, and the list could go on forever. So, I believe we
should just go with what we've got, and not try to make good
things better. Cheers, Blake.
