Hi Grace, I think you are doing some unwanted chording i.e. accidentally pressing SPaCE along with a character. Or, you might be pressing modifier keys i.e. Read, CTRL, FN, etc. on QT keyboard (if you have one). Cheers, Joseph P.S. Try typing slowly and see what happens.
