Grace, two things might help ...
First, in the Options, Braille settings, cursor down to cursor shape for
stand Braille. I have this selected to both dots 7 and 8 because I find it
more helpful that way. Now, as you're writing and can't locate your cursor,
press dots 3-6+Spacebar and the cursor will show up with those dots 7-8
under the character. Of course, if you have inadvertently written too fast
and you've come out of your document file (as happens to us fast Braillists)
then you'll just have to go back into the file and continue writing from
where the text stops.
I hope this makes enough sense but do ask if there's anything that I've said
that isn't clear.

Know this is probably drawing a short bow, but here's a suggestion.
It might be possible that, when typing quickly, you are accidentally
hitting
a command that uses the space bar, backspace or enter keys with a
letter. The one that comes immediately to mind that might do this is
"space + dots 1" or "space + dot 4".
I also wonder whether it's possible you could be accidentally
touching some
part of your hand on the routing buttons--maybe a watch band or
button or something.
I know these are long shots, but I've been using the Braille
keyboard on the
BrailleNote for about six or seven years and never had this happen.
Please don't think I'm being rude making these suggestions, but hand
and finger position are things that can effect the performance of
