Hi:

Sadly you will need a computer to read any complex MS Word documents. The BrailleNote is a PDA and many mobile devices have trouble with complex MS Word documents. Humanware has promised that they will come out with a working version - a promise made years ago.

You may use a computer to change the documents into RTF or txt files and move them to the BrailleNote to work on.

Hi all. I am receiving ms word documents from my
professor, but
it seems I can't read them. Sometimes they'll come
through, but
the german umlauts will not. Other times they won't

at all. They are in the doc withmat. Can anyone help
