Hi Catherine, When scheduling an appointment, one of the options is to "set an alarm for this appointment yes/no?" by default it's "no".
Now I know it's confusing to later hear that you've "missed an alarm" but unless you deliberately set one your appointment will simply register on your braille display at the given time. hth.
