Hi List. The following is a list of features I would like to see
in kthysoft. This list is devided into two section, major bugs I
have found in keysoft that should be fixed, and new features I
would like to see in future releases.
Major bugs in keysoft that need to be fixed.
1. When a user of the braillenote goes to the find command, and
chooses to search forward or back, and is presented with the
"Find?," prompt, if they press backspace with C for a ink-print
only inclusion, they will get a "Fatal application error dialog."
2. If a user plays a midi file in the media player, and they try
to move around in the track, the track just restarts.
2. When a braillenote user attempts to open a web page with java
script content, the braillenote crashes. Support for Java Script
should be added, or at least, hw should make it so the bn does
not crash.
New Features I would like to see in Keysoft
1. support for nemoth code
2. a braille music translator
3. an auto-correct feature for spell checker
4. The ability to play content from websites such as youtube
that require flash player
5. reading and creation of pdf files
6. The ability to get an estamated time of the remaining battery
life.
7. The ability to change the font size in the wordprocessor.
8. The ability to change the cartraige color, if your printer
has more than color.
9. The ability to create macros and templates in the
wordprocessor
10. an audio converter feature
11. The ability for the braille terminal, and visual display to
have usb support. The mpower has usb ports on them, humanware
should make them more useful.
12. The ability to use the fm radio instead of the alarm sound
in the keyplan alarm system.
Bootloader Inhancements
I would also like to see some inhancements made to the
bootloader.
First of all, users should have more control of advanced boot
options such as ram tests. In a computer's bios, you can change
you can access everything, without having to connect your
computer to another computer.
Second of all, I think you should have a choice of what kind of
card you want to update your unit with. You should not be just
limited to using an SD card. I also think you should be able to
debug through a usb connection.
Have a great day.
Josh
