I purchased the following BN during a convention special in 2005, including a disc drive and an Ambocom wireless CF card and a 1 gig ATA card, purchase dated 7/29/05. I wish to sell the unit because another product now fits my needs.
CONDITION: Great, I allow the battery to discharge after every charge, that should keep it in good order, as per the manual, though it seems to show funny percentages. This does not affect performance. KEYBOARD AND CELLS: 32 cells, Braille keyboard VERSION: Keysoft version 6.2, build 23, serial number 40193, hardware revision C, kernel version 6--6/24/2005, operating system--Windows CE, version 4.20 ASKING PRICE: I bought it re the special for $5585.25, not including tax and shipping, $5922.26, which included tax and shipping, I was not charged for the wireless card re the convention special. SMA letter from Humanware: This unit is not at this time eligible for a service contract. It would need to come in to be evaluated to see if it can go back under warranty/service contract. The cost to have the unit evaluated is $145.00. Upgrading software can be done for $585.00. That will bring you current to 7.5. If you want to do an SMA you must be current first and then you can purchase an SMA for $195.00.
