HI Kate,
Thanks for the information. This tells me that:
* You cannot read RFBD books.
* You cannot use 802.11G cards.
* Multilingual language modules are not built in.
The latest version is KeySoft 7.5 build 29.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Kate,
Well, to find the “actual” version, form Main Menu, press SPACE along with
dots 2-4. Then press SPACE. BrailleNote says, “KeySoft CE version (version).
Build: (build).”
Where version is the version you are running and the build is the build
number of that version. To exit out of this Informaiton list, press SPaCE
along with dots 1-5.
Cheers,
Joseph

introduction

Fair enough, if I'm asking a million questions, I suppose I ought to
introduce myself. I'm of course Kate, I live in NY. I'm a student, hope to
get into medical transcription. I do a little writing for my local paper and
also assist in a nursery a couple times per month. I got my BrailleNote
mPower BT last fall and I've only just gotten time to begin learning it. I
think its running keysoft 6.2 if I'm not mistaken. That's what one of the CD
cases says at least. To be honest, I'm trying to get myself up to speed on a
lot of technology stuff lately. Seems to have gotten away from me and I feel
like an old lady who doesn't know hardly anything. I'm too young for that to
be happening to me. Take care, and thanks for the info and the link to your
website, that should come in handy. Kate> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]>
