Hi Robert,
This is rather a feature that is used to sync and update information on
Outlook. In other words, it is there so that Microsoft Outlook can see it
and detect whether an appointment is private or not. There is a flag (or
part of the properties) on Outlook's Appoinrtments module which detects
privacy settings for that appointment.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] privacy setting in keyplan

Hi List.

When i have scheduled appointments in keyplan, a prompt appears
saying: "Mark as private?" When i press space with h for help it
says something like: "To make this appointment visible only to
yourself, press y. To allow others to see this appointment,
press n." I set this option to yes, but nothing much changed.
So, what is this feature actually used for? any comments would be
good.

Thanks

technology: it's great when it works, but rubbish when it
doesn't!
