to replace the "to" and "ble" signs in a document: 1. choose the "find and replace" feature (backspace with f) then
2. from the top of the document choose "forward" 3. first type the "to" sign dots 2,3,5 and a space followed by "enter. 4. You'll be asked either for "all" or "the first" occurrence to be deleted — if you have a lot of exclamation marks you might choose to do this individually?
