Hi Nancy, I am not sure what you mean by hidden attachments. One way you can check what files are in the attachments directory is:- from main menu, file manager, directory, select Flash Disk, at folder prompt use "t" with space. At this point it will ask you for a directory and offer you a directory path to choose. Use space with dots 2 and 3 until the directory offered is "/". Then use space to go down your list till you get to "Keymail" and enter to select it. Now use space again till you get "attachments" and enter this time twice - (once to move down a level of directory, once to stop at that directory). Now you should have "list of all files in "Keymail/attachments". Use space with "x" twice till you get "list of all including hidden files ..." Now space down that list will show you each file which is an attachment. You can choose to delete any of them with backspace with dots 1 and 4.
You need to be a little carefull because if you erase any file that is really still associated with an email, you will not be able to delete that email if you ever want to. To check which emails do have which attachments, if you don't have many emails you can read down the "All" folder in KeyMail and you are told if an email has attachments. If you have many emails there is a more tricky way of checking but it is also much more fun. Involves things like copying the email database on to some other device, using KeyList and a template. If interested I can let you have more but probably best off list. Regards, Steve. P.s., If you do delete a file which an email needs, and you also want to erase that email later, you can make a new version of that file, which must have exact same name and extention. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: Nancy Ungar <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: Braille Note <[email protected] >Date sent: Sat, 08 Nov 2008 23:42:27 -0800 >Subject: [Braillenote] Erasing Hidden Attachments >How does one erase hidden attachments I thought I'd attached or >read after I've received them?
