Hi Louise,
>From what I heard, it is the actual hardware in the SD slot that prevents
SDHC cards from working. The largest "normal" SD card that I've heard is 4
GB.
If a hardware itself (more specifically, the memory card controller) does
not recognize something, it means that the thing - in this case, SDHC
standard - will not work. SDhC (as well as SDIO, which will be explained
later in a separate post) will require SD hardware controller upgrade like
that of Victor Reader Stream (another HumanWare product which does support
SDHC standard).
Sidenote: SDIO is a standard which allows SD-type accessories, such as WiFi
and Bluetooth cards to be used by a device equipped with an SD slot.
Cheers,
Joseph

What is the exact reason that sdhc cards aren't
supported? Can't you just format the file system
to fat32?
Also what is the biggest sd card currently
supported.

I think humanware are very inconsiderate if we
want lots of storage.

Louise.
