Hi there, welcome to the list. We're here for answering questions I think. So don't, well, assume that any question is to simple or stupid to answer.

Subject: [Braillenote] Linda, a New Member

Hello everyone,
I have just gotten a Braille Note and am looking forward to
reading the archives and learning from all of you. The manual is written very well, but I love the personal contact as well. I have been using the computer for quite a long time, but, as many do, had done mostly e-mail, and have not become familiar with doing too much on the internet. But that is changing.

I am the type of person, though, whom you cannot assume knows
what something means when giving support. Right now I am still the step by step person. I am just now starting to learn things like how to create a folder, etc., just to give you an idea of what I mean.

So I feel that most of you will be very much ahead of me in
knowledge. But I will be careful in asking questions, and make sure they have not been answered somewhere else first.

Except for one, which I will ask in another message, as I feel I
must know this right away before doing any harm.

Thank you all for being there for me.
Sincerely,
Linda
