Subject: [GWN] braillesense plus 32 and UMTS connection: it works!

Ok, this is only an advise.
After some days of researches, I was able to connect my Bs32 with Bluetooth dun, with my nokia N82 phone, and use its UMTS connection. So I can surf the web, download my email using the UMTS connection of my cell phone, without any cable, only using bluetooth

The only thing that is quite difficult and that changes from operator to operator, is that you should find what is the right telephone number to input when Bs32 asks you for. In fact, since you want to make a connection without calling a real phone number, you must provide at least a string that your mobile operator and your cell recognize as valid for establishing an UMTS connection.
For example for my mobile operator, 3G, I should insert:
*99#
for other operator like Vodafone it can be: *99***1#

I don't know what you use in other part of the world, in Europe UMTS is a sort of must, or if there is no UMTS available, you use GPRS, but the tecnique is the same. I'm very happy because now I can have my Braillesense32 that can have internet access everywhere I go. The unique limitation is the speed, 115200, that is approximately 16k-bytes per seconds. So you can not use all the power of the UMTS connection, anyway for downloading email or reading/surfing without downloading files is good.

Ok, that's all.
Now I'm going to try Braillesense in windows and linux operative system using BRLTTY.
Great display braille!
