So what does that mean? What do I have to do to get the BrailleNote back to normal?

It loads the basics of KeySoft without loading things like the

My flash disk isn't really all that full (about 75 MB of it is
free.) I tried the regular reset and the 4-5-6 reset, and neither
worked.

Check that your flash drive isn't too full.  Try doing one of the
resets.
