Kevin, that's good to "know, guess "if there were the standard inverter built in to the car's electrical system that would in fact, convert the 12 volts DC to the 110/120 AC used in your house that your electrical stuff runs off of.

Never saw that type plug in any auto though, guess it's about time!!

I have tried this method of plugging it into the 12 volt of a car
and found
that it works just fine. This only worked because the car had the
standard
two prongs found in wall outlets but this isn't all too common. I
have
charged many things , including my laptop this way.

Why doesn't the BN have a car charger?

Hello Alex and listers,

No to a crank charger but I have often thought about connecting
the BN
to the 12v outlet in our car.

Hi all,
Has anyone ever heard of a way to charge a device, of course I
mean
the bn, with a crank charger? So you plug the cable into the bn,
and
the other end of the cable ends in a box. The box has a crank;
you
crank it, and electricity charges the bn's battery.
These exist for usb device, but since the bn is a mobile device,
it
would be great to have a mobile power suply that needs nothing
more
than the turn of a crank. Does anyone even know the voltage and
amperage of the bn's charger? Thanks.

Have a great day,
Alex
