Just a note on attachments: the bn, if it detects an attachment that is a keyword-only format, will ask if you want to attach the file as something different, with the default being MS Word. If you say yes, your file is attached, but it it is turned into a doc file (or whatever format you select). This makes it easy to write in braille, send attachments as pc-accessible files, and not have to store and update translated versions of your braille files on your bn.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Qwerty to Braille Keyboard

Hello Quyn
I don't know what the cost is to
change from a QT to a BT. But, to
answer your questions, yes, you can
write in grade two Braille. Normally,
on a BT unit, a Braille document,
Keyword type is set by default. You can
write in grade two when you send email.
The only thing you can't do is send
attachments in Keyword if you are
sending to a computer, because they
can't be open. Other than that, I think
a BT is a good decision, because it
sounds like you are proficient in
Braille.
As far as the Spacebar, BT's can do
the same thing, but hopefully, you
wouldn't have the problem.
Good luck, and I'd love to know what
you decide to do.

Kind regards,
Rhonda Stogner
