Will KS 7,5 build 31 be included in KS 8?

Well, at least you are direct. I think that releasing ks7.5.31
was a great idea; it is only a little past halfway through the
month, so we could very well see ks8 in the next two weeks, but
that is two more weeks of Bookshare access that we all now have.
We complained about not having said access, and now they release
a build that fixes this problem for free before the upgrade that
was going to give it to us. That was a much-appreciated gesture
on their part.
As to selling out, they are indeed falling behind and it is
possible that another company could buy them and make it better.
However, Pulsedata (the original makers of the bn family) was
doing quite well; after the merge with the other company whose
name escapes me, to form the Humanware we know today, the bn
started its slide downhill while other companies came out with
products that were running uphill as fast as they could. My
point is that a merge of hw with someone else could result in a
great product or it could worsen a product that is already not
doing so great, there is no way to know. Telling hw to sell out
may not be the best option; all they need to do is upgrade to ce5
or, even better since no one else has it yet in the blindness
market, ce6 and they are just about there. A motherboard upgrade
would be nice, too; built-in b/g wifi so I do not have to keep
dealing with faulty wifi G drivers. Okay, enough rambling from
me; 0800 class tomorrow so will head to bed now, unless I am
distracted by something else, which would not be hard.

Have a great day,
Alex

I recommend that you throw your braillenote out in the yard and
buy a braillesense. The braillenote really sucks. Humanware
will never catch up. They just want your money. Sooner or
later, Humanware will sell out to some company. When that
happens, maybe the product will become competitive, but you will
have to buy a new braillenote, as the firmware will be so out of
date that it will be impossible to update it. Throw it away.
Forget Humanware. Humanware sucks. Humanware please sell out.
I am tired of waiting and waiting for a promised upgrade. It's
apparent that ks 8 will not be released by the end of March.
Otherwise it would not have been necessary to release another ks
7 build. Really, Humanware, your company is pathetic. If you
can't do any better, (and obviously, you can't, sell out. Stop
this pretense. Your technicians are not capable of competing in
this market. Sell out! Sell out! Please! There are persons who
are capable of buying your mess and transforming it into a
product worthy of the consideration of intelligent persons in
need of a braille note taker.
