Dear Jamie and List, You can write a simple document and export it as a .doc file, but the file seen by your PC will be a Rich Text Format file, not a Word file. Also, formatting such as page numbering, line spacing, new page breaks and styles such as lines, outline, headings and subheadings won't be preserved when you export the document. That's why any complex formatting must be done on a PC. Any time you import a file and open it and edit it using a different word processor from the original word processor, the document's formatting will change.
