I haven't personally taken any of my equipment to Batteries plus for a battery replacement, but, There have been several posts to this list recently from users who have gone to them and had the battery changed for about forty bucks or so, and they say they've had no problem. If I weren't under waranty , I'd certainly give this thought a good going over. Mr. B.D. Rurry, Rurrysville Tn. USA D.

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote Classic battery replacement
question

Hi List

I have an old BrailleNote bnbt 32 classic unit currently running
KS 7.5
Build 31 that needs a new battery. Since HW no longer supports
this unit my
notion is to take it to the local Batteries Plus and see if they
can do the
replacement. Has anyone on list done this, and, if so, were you
satisfied
with the result?

Tnx,
A.S.
