the bn takes 6 aa-type rechargeable batteries, and they are
soldered in sequence.
for someone who knows what they are doing, it's a fairly simple
thing to do.
i've always got someone to do mine for me, and i haven't had a
problem.

I haven't personally taken any of my equipment to Batteries plus
for a battery replacement, but, There have been several posts to
this list recently from users who have gone to them and had the
battery changed for about forty bucks or so, and they say they've
had no problem. If I weren't under waranty , I'd certainly give

I have an old BrailleNote bnbt 32 classic unit currently running
KS 7.5
Build 31 that needs a new battery. Since HW no longer supports
this unit my
notion is to take it to the local Batteries Plus and see if they
can do the
replacement. Has anyone on list done this, and, if so, were you
satisfied
with the result?
