Actually, this doesn't really make a difference to me personally as I have already purchased Sendero GPS 6.0, but I'm still kind of curious to confirm the answer. And, too, I know some folks like me may tend to play with their BN clock, say when testing to see what the BN will do when the time changes to and from daylight saving time, for example.

Anyway, is the below taken from the FAQ document regarding KS 8.0 saying that, should someone running the GPS trial move their clock forward past the 90 day trial end date, but then put it back to the current date, that they're trial period is then over, no matter whether they have used it for the full 90 days or not? Of course I understand that the system needs to be set so folks get only the 90 day trial period and no more without paying for the product, but would hate to see someone lose part of their trial period unknowingly.

Now, here is the part of the FAQ to which I am referring: The 90-day trial period starts when you run the GPS software for the first time. The system will announce the trial expiration date. The software license will expire once the clock passes the cutoff date announced at time of registration or after using the software for 90 days, regardless of the current date of the system. Users can find out when the trial version will end by going to Help Information Center About GPS.
