Hi Martin and Alex,
I see where Martin is going... I would also prefer python because of its
similarity in structure to everyday speech, which would mean easier learning
curve than say, C++ (which I am learning right now).
As Alex said, a suitable interpreter for python (or at least, a language
converter between C++ and python) would not appear unless:
A. An SDK is available: BrailleNote is closed-source; another product runs
WM6 Classic, while another notetaker's SDK is in Korean.
B. Someone needs to write the interpreter, or at least, language converters.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. And I don't want to lose such a valuable programmer like you,
Martin...

Well, theoretically speaking, Python is a cross-platform programming
language and there is a version for the Windows CE opperating system.
It would be totally independent from the C++ Braillenote infostructure.
Plus, it's free open source.
