Hi Aleeha

A correction to my previous email.

I said:-
"If KeyMail can no longer use that database, after copying it, delete the database in that Keymail directory and copy the file "Email folders" from KeySoft system disk/windows into Flash disk/Keymail, then go into KeyMail and try to read a mail it will ask to recreate the database, answer yes."
Well that's not quite right.
The delete the database after making a copy is right, so is the copy Keysoft system disk/windows/Email folders into the Flash Disk/Keymail directory, but here is the change.

Assuming you have not already try this, (no, good), when Email folders is copied, it will end up in the Keymail directory as protected.
Check the file using space with "i".
This information is only directly given if the associated database file has not been created. When in the list of files in the Keymail directory, find Email folders and use backspace with "p", and answer "u" to unprotect it.
Finally, use KeyMail as described above to create the database.

If you have already try to make a new database, you will probably have problems using KeyMail if it even let you create the database.
Firstly, File Directory and enter the Keymail directory.
Change the list of files to list of files including hidden by using space with "x" twice. Then make sure both the Email folders and Email folders.cdb are unprotected.
To do this use backspace with "p" on both the files in turn.
This will tell you the state of the files protection and allow you to change it with "u" to unprotect or leave if already not protected, think that's enter check with space "h" for help. If KeyMail failed to create the Email folders.cdb, just unprotect the Email folders and then try reading InBox in KeyMail.

Sorry for any confusion and I hope my ramblings make sense.
It's not easy to write up as I don't know whether you or other readers no lots or almost nothing about this.

Regards,
Steve.

Subject: [Braillenote] email problem

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before. I am using hotmail with ks8.
When receiving email, i get the message that the disk is full. Then, when I try to move a single email to the trash folder, it says that there is not enough space on the disk. When I mark all email and try to move them to a folder, it says the network request is not supported. Also, when I try to free database space, I get the message that there is 0 bytes freed. Can anyone help?
Aleeha Dudley
