You might recall that I sold my BrailleNote PK to some friends of
mine well over a year ago now. However, although I do have other
notetakers, including an mPower, well, there is just nothing like
the portability of the PK. Thus, I just recently purchased a
used one; and, although I actually have more than one question,
I'll just ask about the flash disk in this email.
Anyway, when I had the PK before, my flash disk seemed to
disappear every once in a while. And, I want to try and avoid
that happening with the unit I have now.
I'm thinking that the thing that caused my flash disk to keep
disappearing before was caused by putting too much email on it at
one time, as I would often download more than fifty messages at
once. Thus, I'm thinking that I could avoid this issue by having
emails go to the storage card, rather than to the flash disk.
SO, as I know others on the list have had their flash disk go
away as well, I'm wondering if there are other reasons besides
the larger amount of email that might cause this problem? my
friends who bought my PK, they use it primarily for the GPS, and
have never had the flash disk disappearing issue.
