Hi Kim, For the most part, I agree with you, that except for the issue of braille, a NetBook is a practical solution because it is small and will run most off-the-shelf software. I plan to get one after the first of the year because since I'm not a client of my state agency and wouldn't fall under the CAP (Client Assistance Program) any equipment I have to purchase would have to come out of my pocket. And to put things in perspective, the Apex is more expensive than the car I bought for my wife. Go figure. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

It seems to me that a person could get a net book/note pad with a screen reader for a fraction of the price of a Braille note. Other than the braille issue, what am I missing?
