Hi folks,

Well, I spoke to Lucia Gomez from HumanWare. According to her, it really
comes down to priorities and demand for it. Right now HW is focused on Word
support, so they don't have time for SDK, which takes time. However, with
the framework of the Apex, it is doable, according to Lucia, provided that
API (Application Programming Interface) is here.

So what does it mean for us? It means we need to help HW by giving our
expertise (for programmers) and doing some advocacy so that more useful
software for KeySoft would be developed. Alex says that he plans to write a
timer application. I plan to write few things myself, including advanced
configuration utilities and add-on to KeyPlus (Scientific Calculator) to
allow users to perform advanced trig and calculus work (with your help, both
from programmers and users).

Also, the Apex BT units are shipping. According to Lucia, we (the people who
are doing trade-in) will receive calls to send our mPower before new year.

Hope it helps.

Cheers,

Joseph
