Also, try copying some completely separate files to see if they work.
Have a great day,
Alex

Hi, I'd check the folder that you're finding the files are in on the card
whilst in the computer, to ensure you go to the right one with BN.
Yes, we do it time after time but, just maybe, you could have put them in
the wrong folder. ...
If not, it may be simplest to try to copy them (maybe on a different card)
from your computer and start over until you can sort the mystery. It this
way you're sure to have them ready for when they are needed. <Smiles>
Hope you find them soon.

Dear Alex, Carol, and Marcia,
Thanks so very much for your quick replies. My flash
card is backed up, so I tried a standard reset using the
reset button only. Nothing changed, so I did a regular
reset with the flash card in my BN. Still nothing
changed. I then went to where it says "list of all
folders on compact flash" and pressed x with space. My
display never changed! I am still getting the same
result. This is sooo weird! If anyone has any further
ideas, I'm surely open to giving them a try! Again
thanks!
Desi

Reset with the card removed, then put it back in.
Failing that, back up the card (just a precaution; you
should not need the backup) and then reset with the card
in the bn.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] BN acting weird! Please help!
Hi Everyone,
This one is a real stumper for me! I created a number
of text files on my computer, which I saved to my
compact flash card which I then planned to put in my
BrailleNote so that I could emboss them in hard copy
braille. I have done this countless times before with
no problem. This time however, when I put my CF card in
my BrailleNote, the files do not appear to be there! They are definitely
there when the CF card is in my
computer. I can open them and edit them and everything!
Does anybody out there have any ideas why I can't see
these files on my BrailleNote? I'm completely baffled,
and I need these files for a choral rehearsal on Monday
night. Any help would be much appreciated! I have tried
resaving the files with different names, but that didn't
work! Another odd thing is that I did another unrelated
file earlier this afternoon and it worked perfectly! Any
help would be most appreciated!
