Dear Peggy and All who were so willing to help me with my BN problem this afternoon,

I have finally been successful in getting my text files for my choral rehearsal working. I ended up having to rename all of the files and copy them into a completely different folder. I think when I originally saved the files, I must have done something wrong in the file naming protocol. I don't know if I'll ever know for sure what it was, because I've been working with files for years, and I didn't think I handled these any differently than usual. For the life of me, I can't find anything unusual about the way the files were originally saved, but the work-around I ultimately employed seems to have worked, so I'm hugely relieved for that!

Again, thanks to all who were willing to offer suggestions! I hope I can return the favor some time!

Desi

Try a reset, if you haven't already. When I've had "missing" files or folders, a reset brings them back.

Hi Everyone,

This one is a real stumper for me! I created a number of text files on my computer, which I saved to my compact flash card which I then planned to put in my BrailleNote so that I could emboss them in hard copy braille. I have done this countless times before with no problem. This time however, when I put my CF card in my BrailleNote, the files do not appear to be there! They are definitely there when the CF card is in my computer. I can open them and edit them and everything! Does anybody out there have any ideas why I can't see these files on my BrailleNote? I'm completely baffled, and I need these files for a choral rehearsal on Monday night. Any help would be much appreciated! I have tried resaving the files with different names, but that didn't work! Another odd thing is that I did another unrelated file earlier this afternoon and it worked perfectly! Any help would be most appreciated!
