I'm confused about the start-up sounds.  Do you mean you literally like the
machine to play some music when you flip on the switch?  I didn't even know
the Apex had such a feature.

When you change the startup sound on the Apex, the new wav will 
stay even
when you attempt Clear Settings Reset. It is even harder to 
perform service
Reset now. (is there a way to completely reinitialize the RAM 
and Flash Disk
to delete unwanted data that a user might have accidentally added?)
