Hi,
Mostly it's the change of battery technology. Whereas mPower (and Classic) used Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, Apex (and PK) uses Lithium Ion (common battery type for portable devices).
Also, quite a few more things under Support Information Mode:
* If you press SPACE with I from Support Information Mode, you'll get memory count (how much memory is free for RAM and Flash). * When you press BACKSPACE with R from Support Information Mode, Apex will restore Flash Disk files from ROM (a HumanWare programmer told me about this). Just a teaser: It is now possible to restore "default" sound set under Apex - but that's coming up later...
Cheers,
JL

Subject: [Braillenote] Question about support information mode

Hi Listers,
I went to the support information mode and went down the
alphabet, and the only letters that gave any information were x,
which exercises the Braille display, and s, which asks about
formatting.
Two questions. When would I want to format and why? Why is there
no other information in the support information mode as there was
in the More-Power?
