Well, I just stumbled across something concerning those vanishing
KeyWord 2.0 text documents I reported last night. I know how to
use my note taker and had already used all the methods you
mention below to search for my missing files but I discovered the
problem and am still confused at what is going on here. My
documents were all there but the Apex displayed their file names
as key1, key2, key3, etc. but I was looking for the original file
names and did not bother opening any of the files with the
changed names. If anyone else on this list hasKeyWord 2.0
documents that have gone missing, look for any files starting
with the word "key" followed by a number instead.
Weird!
By the way, concerning your post script, I remember back around
January or February some person almost frantic when she ported
all her mPower files over to a new Apex and discovering all her
college work documents missing. I am sort of wondering if they
were not there all along but renamed as key1, key2, etc.

Subject: [Braillenote] A vanishing keyword file problem partly
solved
Hello Richard and list,
This problem about the files missing on the apex and shoing on
the
voice note I can probably help you with.
Try pressing space with x at the list of files in <folder name>
prompt.
I'm not quite sure what the q t keystroke is.
If you have a q t, enter the list of files and press help for
help and
listen to the prompt that says to vew other types of file
press...Keep
pressing.
When you get to list of all, including hidden, files in <folder
name
keep spacing down until you find the files you want and you can
probably view them like that.
You might ask yourself why do they not show on the apex?
This might just be a bug, or intended, I'm not sure.
If you still can't look at them then convert them to a different
format like brl / brf / txt.
Chears,
Cam.
Ps, Who was this sent from?
The question was not on the list.
Oh well *grin*
