Have you tried a 4-5-6 reset? Also, it may be taking a while to do what you are waiting for it to do, but it is not actually frozen. The Apex, ever since 9.01, does this; sometimes it will take up to two minutes, actually, more than that, to link to a new page. Still, in a case like that, it may be faster to reset and log back in. Anyway, see what the 4-5-6 reset does.
