Hi,
Welcome to the list.
Sounds like a pressure problem. I've found out that Apex requires slightly
more pressure when using routing buttons. Also, you might want to push the
"dot" on the router buttons (to make it go down more).
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. What type of keyboard do you have?

Subject: [Braillenote] New to the List, Question about Routing Buttons

Hello all! I'm new to the list but had a couple of questions. I just got
the BrailleNote Apex, and it is the most amazing notetaker I've ever seen or
experienced! I couldn't be happier.

I don't think the routing buttons are working properly though; with my
previous BrailleNote, I could push any routing button, and the cursor would
immediately jump to that cell. I can't get this to happen with the Apex.
It's almost like the routing buttons are dead, except for an occasional
movement once every few days. Any ideas? Is there a setting that needs to
be changed? I used those routing buttons all the time since I never use the
speech on the BN.

Also, I see that there is a chat program on the Apex, but who can we chat
with? Only other BrailleNote users? Just curious.

I can't get the wireless connection working yet, but that's for another day.

Thanks in advance for your assistance! This Apex is truly incredible!

With a smile,
Karen Shrawder
